Shiur Acher has created an innovative volunteering platform that offers busy career-driven professionals, through their place of employment, a pragmatic way to make a meaningful contribution by teaching "different lessons" in their own fields of expertise. As guest teachers, our volunteers offer a fresh and inspirational encounter with the children and bring with them to the classrooms real-life experience and professional knowledge that is a rare sight in the regular school scene. According to our model, the volunteers, working from within schools, offer children access to new fields of interest, role models and perspectives that add an unforgettably strong impact to the learning experience.
